Summer has officially begun! So you know what’s up next, our Regional Leadership Conference! We are excited to welcome you back to the University of Tennessee - Knoxville from July 26-28, 2019.
This year, our theme is “Leading with P.R.I.D.E” which stands for Purpose, Respect, Intellect, Diligence, and Enthusiasm.
Purpose: Know your why and act on it everyday.
Respect: Have respect for the people you serve and those you interact with.
Intellect: Have thorough knowledge of what it is you're doing.
Diligence: Be committed to your goals and your chapter’s goals.
Enthusiasm: Your attitude and outlook on a situation is contagious; be cognizant of it.
Whether you are a chapter leader or a chapter member aspiring to be a chapter/regional leader one day, prepare for a conference that will challenge and sharpen your skills. The conference will also help you identify best practices to further your goals while fulfilling the NSBE mission. To actively model this theme we are offering workshops that embrace chapter differences, provide experiential learning, and reinvigorate your passion to lead yourself, others, and the organization effectively.
Fully embrace all that this weekend will offer. Take time to meet officers from all across the region, exchange ideas, and form relationships with your Regional Executive Board. I encourage you to ask the questions that will spark conversation and change. While at RLC challenge yourself to define your own success!
This weekend will be filled with opportunities for growth and leadership development aimed at achieving the mission of NSBE. I look forward to greeting you in Knoxville and helping each of you become the best NSBE leader possible!
