1.    What is Region III Fall Regional Conference?

​

  • Fall Regional Conference is a conference held every fall semester in all 6 regions. FRC is an opportunity to network with fellow engineering peers within your region, attend a career fair for internship/full-time opportunities, as well as a chance for professional development with workshops to help enhance both soft and technical skills. Competitions like our Collegiate Hackathon and Academic Tech Bowl are also held during FRC for a chance to showcase your skills to companies through friendly competitions.

2.    What benefits do I get from attending Region III Fall Regional Conference?

​

  • You have the chance to grow your network, both with your peers, professionals, and company recruiters. There is also the opportunity for professional development through our workshops and competitions. Additionally, FRC presents the opportunity to meet and get to know your Regional Board.

  • 2019 Fall Regional Conference is November 15th- 17th

4.    Where is Region III Fall Regional Conference? 

​

  • 2019 Fall Regional Conference will be held in Tampa, FL, at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay Hotel

5.    Do I have to be a nationally registered NSBE member to attend Region III Fall Regional conference?

​

  • Yes

6.    How do I register as a national member for NSBE?

​

  • Go to nsbe.org and select Login in the top right corner. A screen will appear with a space for you to login with your credentials. Once you have entered your credentials, press the orange Log In button right below where you entered your credentials

  • Select NSBEconnect in the top right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will pop up like the picture below. Select View/Edit Profile.

  • Hold your mouse on the My Activities tab. A drop-down menu will appear.  Select “Register for an Event”.

  • Select “2019 Region III Fall Regional COnference” from the table displayed.

​

  • Academic Pyramid of Excellence: Students a 3.0+ verified GPA

​

11.   How do I verify that I qualify to be in APex?

  • When your GPA is verified, you will automatically be qualified as APex if your GPA is over a 3.0
